Acre River bend
The river loops past the town in wide meanders, and its line dominates the frame. It shows how settlement here was organised around water long before roads arrived.

Porto Acre Map Poster & Print
Porto Acre lies north of Rio Branco in the Brazilian state of Acre, on the banks of the river that gave both the town and the state their names. From above, the urban area is compact: a few blocks of streets laid out near the water, surrounded by cleared pasture and patches of forest that extend in every direction.
The place matters well beyond its size. Around 1900 it was the site of a Bolivian customs post known as Puerto Alonso. The fighting there during the Acre Revolution, led by José Plácido de Castro, helped bring the territory into Brazil. The post stood on the river because the river was the main route for rubber leaving the region.
A Porto Acre map poster keeps the essentials: the curve of the river, the small grid beside it and the thin roads leading out across open land. With so few buildings, the water becomes the main subject, and the composition has a spacious, almost diagrammatic quality that suits a quiet wall or a study.

Compact riverside grid
The built-up area is a short run of blocks near the riverbank. It is small enough that individual streets stay legible even at the largest print sizes.
Open surroundings
Beyond the town, the map opens into cleared land and forest edges with few roads. This leaves generous empty space around the settlement.
