Saoula Map Poster & Print
Saoula is a commune in Algiers province, south of the city centre, on the hills known as the Sahel that separate the coast from the Mitidja plain. From above, it looks quite different from the dense grid of central Algiers. The streets are shaped by slopes and ravines, so they bend and fork as they cross the uneven ground.
The commune combines older village streets, newer housing estates and patches of remaining farmland and green space. The estates stand out on the map as regular blocks set among the more irregular hillside streets. Main roads connect Saoula with the neighbouring communes and the wider Algiers network, and they follow the valleys where they can.
A Saoula map poster captures this mix of old village and newer suburb on hilly ground. The winding streets make an intricate pattern in black and white, and the planned blocks add structure. Together they show the ongoing growth of the capital into its surrounding hills.

Housing estates
Planned residential estates appear as regular blocks among the older, looser streets. They mark the more recent growth of the area.
Valley roads
Main roads follow the lower ground where possible, linking Saoula with nearby communes and forming the strongest lines on the poster.

For families from Saoula, or anyone who has lived in the southern suburbs of Algiers, this map shows familiar ground in a new way. The hills create a pattern that looks good on its own, even for someone who has never been there.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line in Arabic, French or English. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the hilly streets a soft, drawn quality.
