Södertälje Map Poster & Print
Södertälje lies southwest of Stockholm, at the narrow point where Lake Mälaren comes closest to the Baltic Sea. The Södertälje Canal runs straight through the town and links the two. On a map it is a sharp, deliberate line of water dividing the streets, crossed by bridges and bordered by quays and parkland.
The town is closely tied to heavy industry and is best known as the home of the truck manufacturer Scania. There are also large pharmaceutical facilities here. Around the compact centre, residential districts spread across hills and forest, and the shoreline breaks into bays and inlets on both the lake side and the sea side.
A Södertälje map poster sets the canal at the centre of the composition, with the town gathered around it and water on several sides. Straight engineered lines meet the natural, irregular edges of Swedish shoreline. The result is both orderly and organic, and it reads clearly at any print size.

Lake and sea shores
Water surrounds the town on more than one side. Irregular bays and inlets of lake and sea give the map a lively, uneven outline.
Forested districts
Residential areas stretch across wooded hills around the centre. Curving suburban streets sit between patches of green and rock.

For people who work in Södertälje or grew up in its neighbourhoods, the canal and shorelines are part of daily life. A map puts them on the wall in a form that feels calm and Scandinavian.
Add a name, an address or a date to the title lines, adjust the coordinates, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the canal well. The digital files are $9.
