Taolin Map Poster & Print
Taolin is a town in the southeast of Shandong province, in the rolling country between the Shandong hills and the Yellow Sea coast. From above it forms a small, concentrated built area with streets packed tightly around its centre. The land around it is divided into fields and villages connected by a web of country roads.
Towns such as Taolin are the everyday centres of rural Shandong, where people from nearby villages come for markets, schools and work. The map shows this relationship clearly. Main roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements, and the fields between them form a rhythmic, almost woven texture around the core.
A Taolin map poster shows a quiet side of China that rarely appears on printed maps. The design is spare: a dense cluster of streets, a few strong roads, and wide open space at the edges. That restraint suits the minimalist style of the prints and gives the town the attention it deserves.

Country road network
Roads spread out from the town toward the surrounding villages. Their long lines across the fields give the composition structure and movement.
Field patterns
Farmland surrounds the town on all sides. Its boundaries and tracks appear as a fine, repeating pattern that softens the edges of the frame.
