Traipu Map Poster & Print
Traipu sits on the left bank of the São Francisco River in Alagoas, on the river's lower course before it reaches the Atlantic. From above, the town follows the water, with streets running parallel to the bank and then rising gently inland. The state of Sergipe lies on the opposite shore, so the river here is both a landscape and a boundary.
Like other towns on the lower São Francisco, Traipu grew up facing the river, and its oldest streets sit close to the water. Around it, the land opens into the dry interior of Alagoas, with farms and rural settlements linked by long roads. On a map, the broad ribbon of the river, with its sandbanks and islands, dominates the view.
A Traipu map poster turns this riverside setting into a strong, simple image: the wide water as a solid shape, the town's streets as fine lines along its bank, and the countryside stretching away. It is a meaningful piece for people from Alagoas and anyone with family along the São Francisco.

Waterfront streets
The older streets follow the riverbank, giving the town a long, stretched outline. It reflects how closely the town's history is bound up with the river.
Inland countryside
Beyond the town, roads lead into the dry interior, and scattered settlements and farmland extend the map into a quieter, more open landscape.
