Ústí nad Labem Map Poster & Print
Ústí nad Labem lies in northern Bohemia, where the Elbe cuts a deep valley through the České středohoří hills and the Bílina River joins it. From above, the city is shaped by that valley. Streets fill the narrow floor along both banks, then climb the slopes in curving lines, and forested hills close in on every side.
The Elbe is the main feature of the map: a broad, steady band crossing the frame, with bridges linking the two banks. The Mariánský most, a cable-stayed bridge with a single tilted pylon, is one of the city's best-known structures. On the right bank, Střekov castle stands on a rock above the river, a landmark that has drawn painters and travellers for centuries.
An Ústí nad Labem map poster shows how closely the city is tied to the terrain. The streets are dense by the river, then give way to terraced housing and hillside roads, then woods. The Větruše chateau sits on a hill above the centre, reached by cable car. In black and white, the valley walls and the river make a strong, dramatic image.

Bílina confluence
The smaller Bílina River joins the Elbe here. Its course through the city adds a second line of water and softens the dense urban pattern.
Bridges and Střekov
Several bridges cross the Elbe, including the Mariánský most. Across the water, Střekov castle stands on its rock above the right bank.
