Vengikkal Map Poster & Print
Vengikkal is a census town on the northern edge of Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, where the city has spread into formerly rural land. On the map, older village lanes mix with newer residential streets, and the built-up area gives way to fields and open ground. The pattern reflects a place in transition, part village and part suburb.
Its setting is shaped by Tiruvannamalai, one of Tamil Nadu's most important pilgrimage towns. The great Annamalaiyar Temple stands in the city centre, and the hill of Arunachala rises to the south. Pilgrims walk the circumambulation path around the hill, especially at the full moon.
A Vengikkal map poster shows the local streets in detail while placing them within this wider landscape. For residents, it is a record of a neighbourhood that is changing quickly. For those with family ties to the area, it is a reminder of a place bound up with one of South India's great sacred sites.

Open plain
Farmland and open ground surround much of the built-up area, giving the map a loose, airy outline on the plain below the hill.
