Vuyyūru Map Poster & Print
Vuyyūru lies in the Krishna river delta in Andhra Pradesh, among some of the most intensively farmed land in southern India. The delta is crossed by a dense network of irrigation canals that carry water from the river across the plain, and the rice and sugarcane grown here have shaped the town's economy for generations, including a long-established sugar industry.
On a map, the canals are the key. They run in long, slightly curving lines across the flat land, and roads and villages often follow them. The town itself forms a dense cluster where roads and waterways meet, with a busy main road and smaller streets branching off. Around it, the fields fill the sheet with open space.
A Vuyyūru map poster shows the town in the context that defines it: the water system of the Krishna delta. The canal lines give the composition a flowing structure rarely seen in inland towns. For families from the delta, the map shows exactly how the town sits among its fields and channels.

Canal-side roads
Many roads run alongside the canals, doubling the lines and creating parallel strokes that lead in and out of the town.
Dense town core
Where the main routes meet, the town forms a compact cluster of streets, a solid centre set among the wide, open fields of the delta.
