Amroha Map Poster & Print
Amroha lies on the flat Gangetic plain in western Uttar Pradesh, not far from Moradabad. From above, the old city is a compact, closely packed network of narrow lanes. It grew over centuries without a grid. Main roads run outward from this core toward nearby towns, and beyond the last streets the land opens into fields and orchards.
The town is known for making the dholak, a two-headed hand drum, and for its mango orchards. Amroha also has a strong place in Urdu literature and Indian film. The director Kamal Amrohi, known for Pakeezah and Mahal, took his name from the town, and it has produced many poets and scholars.
An Amroha map poster shows the textured grain of an old North Indian town. Small lanes form a dense mesh in the centre, while the roads to the edges become longer and straighter. Around the town, a softer pattern of fields and orchards completes the frame. It is an intimate, detailed poster for anyone with family ties to the town.

Orchard edge
