Central block pattern
Near the middle of town, small blocks sit close together. This is the densest part of the drawing and the part people tend to recognise first.

Arcelia Map Poster & Print
Arcelia lies in Tierra Caliente, the hot lowland region of Guerrero. The name, which means hot land, fits it well. From above, the town shows a tight, fairly regular pattern of blocks around a central core. Some streets run straight and some bend where the ground rises or dips. Past the last houses, the built-up area gives way quickly to open, lightly marked land.
This is a town where the street plan tells most of the story. The blocks near the centre are smaller and closer together, and they grow wider and looser towards the edges. Roads to neighbouring towns lead out in several directions and become the strongest lines on the map. In black and white, that simple arrangement of core, edge and exit roads reads clearly, even at a modest scale.
An Arcelia map poster suits someone who knows the town from the inside: the walk to the plaza, the road out to family in the next village, the heat of the afternoon. The design leaves out colour and labels on purpose. What stays is the outline of a place in western Guerrero, drawn only in lines and spaces.

Roads out of town
Regional roads leave Arcelia in several directions. On paper they are the longest, steadiest lines and tie the town to the rest of Tierra Caliente.
Open lowland edges
At the edge of the built-up area the street network thins out quickly. The contrast between the dense centre and the empty surroundings is easy to see.

Zakaj Arcelia
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang Arcelia on a wall to remember where they grew up, where their parents came from or a place they return to every year. A plain street map says that quietly, without needing a photograph.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
