Two tidal rivers
The Magothy and the Severn frame the community to the north and south. Their branching creeks give the map an intricate, fringed shoreline that looks almost like lace.

Arnold Map Poster & Print
Arnold sits on the Broadneck Peninsula in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, a few miles north of Annapolis. It is a community without a town centre in the usual sense. From above, it looks like a mesh of curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs set among trees, with water close by on almost every side as the Chesapeake Bay's tidal rivers push inland.
The Magothy River lies to the north and the Severn River to the south, and both break into many narrow creeks that cut deep into the land. The shoreline turns into a ragged, branching outline, and private piers and small marinas dot the coves. Ritchie Highway, Maryland Route 2, runs through as the main north–south spine, with the local roads branching off it toward the water.
Anne Arundel Community College has its main campus in Arnold, and its buildings and car parks form one of the larger open shapes in an otherwise leafy pattern. An Arnold map poster is mostly about the edges: fingers of water reaching between wooded necks of land, and streets that end, one after another, at the shore.

Ritchie Highway spine
Maryland Route 2 cuts a straight line through the area. Most of the curving neighbourhood streets connect to it, and it sets a clear axis across the peninsula.
College campus
Anne Arundel Community College's main campus makes a distinct cluster of buildings and open ground among the residential streets and wooded lots.

Zakaj Arnold
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Arnold is where many people grew up near the water, kept a boat or settled with a family, and the creeks and coves are what they remember. A map of the peninsula turns that into something you can frame, with no need for a skyline.
Add a title, subtitle or the coordinates of a particular street, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame. The $9 digital download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files.
