Bahau is a market town in the Jempol district of Negeri Sembilan, in the interior of Peninsular Malaysia. The map shows a small, fairly dense centre of shophouse streets. Beyond it, residential areas spread along the main roads, and the outer ring is made up of agricultural estates, where planting rows and access tracks draw fine repeating lines across the land.
The countryside around Bahau has long been used for commercial crops such as rubber and oil palm.
