Compact core
The town's streets form a small, dense cluster. The contrast with the open countryside around it makes the centre the natural focal point of the poster.

Bāmaur Map Poster & Print
Bāmaur lies in the Gwalior region of northern Madhya Pradesh, a short distance north of the city of Gwalior. The landscape here is part of the drier country between the Chambal and the central Indian uplands. From above, the town is a small, dense cluster of streets surrounded by farmland, with low rocky ground and scrub in some directions.
Gwalior's proximity shapes the area, and main roads and the railway corridor toward the north pass through this stretch of land. Around Bāmaur, the fields are broken up by uneven terrain and seasonal streams, so the pattern of roads and paths is looser and more irregular than on the fully flat plains further east. Villages are scattered through the countryside and linked by narrow tracks.
A Bāmaur map poster is a simple, focused composition. The tight core of the town sits within a wide area of open land, crossed by a handful of roads and paths. The result is modest and quiet, and it means most to people who know this corner of Madhya Pradesh personally.
