Hodna plain setting
The town lies on very level ground. Its outline is set by roads and field boundaries rather than hills or shorelines, which gives the map an even, open quality.

Barika Map Poster & Print
Barika sits in the south-west of Batna Province, where the Aurès foothills give way to the broad, level basin of the Hodna. From above, the town reads as a compact mass of short blocks and courtyard houses. Main roads leave it in several directions. There is little relief to bend the streets, so the plan spreads outward evenly until it meets cultivated plots and bare steppe.
The drawing is mostly flat. There are no coastlines or large rivers to organise it. What shapes the town are its roads, a few seasonal watercourses and the edge where built-up land stops. That edge is uneven: newer districts push out along the main routes, and older quarters stay tight around the centre. In black and white, this contrast between dense core and loose outskirts is the clearest thing on the sheet.
A Barika map poster suits a place that people remember for its everyday streets more than its monuments. The town has long served as a market and service centre for the surrounding farming and herding country. Its layout shows that role plainly: routes converge, the grid fills in between them, and the plain carries on beyond the frame.

Converging main roads
Several regional roads meet in the centre and head out across the plain. On the poster they work like spokes, anchoring the smaller residential streets that fill the spaces between them.
Dense centre, loose edges
Older blocks near the middle pack tightly together. Newer districts on the outskirts are laid out more loosely, so the drawing gets lighter toward the margins.

Zakaj Barika
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang Barika because it is home, or was once. A map of the streets someone walked to school or market says more than a photograph of a single building. The plain, balanced layout also sits quietly on a wall, which suits a hallway, a study or a gift for a relative abroad.
You can set your own title and subtitle, such as a family name, a date or a short line, and edit the coordinates line. There are five styles to pick from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files are $9, and printed posters can be framed.
