Binnish Map Poster & Print
Binnish lies in northwestern Syria, a short distance northeast of the city of Idlib, on the broad agricultural plain that stretches toward Aleppo. From above, the town has a compact, rounded form, with a dense core of courtyard houses and narrow lanes and newer streets spreading more regularly toward the edges.
The countryside around Binnish is dominated by olive groves, which appear on the map as fine, evenly spaced textures broken by field boundaries and farm tracks. Roads lead outward to Idlib and to neighbouring towns, and their straight lines cut across the agricultural pattern with a clear sense of direction.
Like much of the Idlib region, Binnish has been deeply affected by the years of conflict in Syria, and many of its people now live elsewhere. A Binnish map poster records the shape of the town as a place of streets, homes and land, a way of keeping its outline close regardless of distance.
