Planned blocks
Large, regular residential blocks cover much of the area. They create a strong geometric rhythm that differs from the irregular lanes of older districts.

Bir el Djir Map Poster & Print
Bir el Djir is a municipality on the eastern side of the Oran metropolitan area, in north-western Algeria. Over recent decades it has grown from a small settlement into one of the region's most active residential and institutional zones, and the map shows that growth plainly: wide avenues, large planned blocks and housing estates arranged in regular patterns.
Compared with the older, tighter streets of central Oran, Bir el Djir reads as a place still being built. Long straight roads connect it to the city centre and to the coast, and open plots sit between finished neighbourhoods, waiting for development. The Mediterranean lies not far to the north, giving the area a clear orientation.
A Bir el Djir map poster captures a modern Algerian district in the middle of its development. The geometry is bold and simple, with broad roads, big blocks and a coastline nearby, and that suits the minimal black-and-white style well.

Wide avenues
Broad roads link the district to central Oran and the surrounding region. On the poster they appear as confident lines that organise the whole composition.
Near the coast
The Mediterranean lies to the north of the district, giving the map a sense of edge and direction even where the frame focuses on the inland streets.
