Burgdorf Map Poster & Print
Burgdorf lies in the Hanover region of Lower Saxony, a short distance east of the city. On a map its historic centre is easy to pick out: a compact cluster of streets around the old market area, with half-timbered buildings and the town's castle, Schloss Burgdorf, close by.
The small Aue river runs through the town, marked by a thin line and a strip of green along its banks. Around the centre, residential districts spread out in both straight and curving streets, and beyond them the landscape opens into flat farmland and patches of woodland typical of the North German plain.
A Burgdorf map poster shows a town with a clear structure: an old core, a river line and neat outer neighbourhoods set within open countryside. Its good rail link to Hanover makes it a popular home for commuters, which shows in the steady growth of residential areas around the centre.
