Burj Islām Map Poster & Print
Burj Islām is a town in Latakia Governorate, on Syria's Mediterranean coast north of the city of Latakia. It lies on the narrow coastal strip between the sea and the rising hills inland, a landscape of farmland, orchards and small settlements.
On a map, the town is defined by the coastline. Streets extend down towards the water and parallel lanes run along the slope, with houses and plots spreading into the surrounding agricultural land. The shoreline itself is irregular, with small coves and rocky stretches rather than one long straight beach.
A Burj Islām map poster pairs a modest street pattern with a strong natural edge. The sea gives the composition a broad open field, the coast adds a detailed line, and the land behind the town fills in with fields and roads. It is a quiet, personal subject, especially for families from the Syrian coast.

Streets to the sea
Roads and lanes run downhill towards the water, creating a pattern oriented to the coast rather than a single central square.
Farmland behind
Inland, orchards and fields surround the town, filling the map with the finer texture of rural plots and tracks.
