Burjassot Map Poster & Print
Burjassot sits immediately north of Valencia, so close that its streets run directly into the city's own. On a map it shows as a tightly packed urban fabric of narrow blocks, among the most densely built municipalities in the area, with the old centre on slightly higher ground. There is very little empty space, which makes the few open areas stand out clearly.
At its heart are the Silos de Burjassot, a set of underground granaries from the sixteenth century beneath a large open esplanade, used for centuries to store wheat for Valencia. The town also hosts part of the University of Valencia's Burjassot-Paterna campus, whose faculty buildings and grounds form a distinct zone on the side facing Paterna.
A Burjassot map poster makes the most of this density: the fine grain of residential blocks, the broad open square of the silos, the metro lines heading into Valencia and the edge where streets give way to irrigated fields. It is a compact subject that fills the frame with detail, well suited to a close, carefully printed view.

Compact street fabric
Narrow blocks and short streets fill almost every part of the municipality, producing a very fine, even texture across the whole map when printed.
University campus
The Burjassot-Paterna campus of the University of Valencia lies toward Paterna, its larger buildings and open grounds contrasting with the dense town beside it.
