Çağlayancerit Map Poster & Print
Çağlayancerit is a district town in the province of Kahramanmaraş, in south-central Turkey, set in hilly and mountainous country. On the map, the town follows the shape of its valley. Streets run along the contours instead of in straight lines, and the built-up area thins quickly where the ground gets steep.
The surrounding land is rugged, with farmland and orchards on the slopes and small streams in the valley floors. Roads link the town to the provincial centre and to villages in the district, winding through the hills.
A Çağlayancerit map poster shows how mountain terrain shapes a town. It has no grid and no ring, just streets that bend with the land and a network of roads that follows the valleys outward. The result is organic and quite intimate.

Contour streets
Streets curve along the hillsides, following the ground instead of cutting straight across it. That gives the map a flowing texture.
Winding mountain roads
Roads leave town through the valleys in long bends, linking it to nearby villages and to Kahramanmaraş.
