San Diego Bay forms the city's western boundary. Its marinas, waterfront park and marshland give one side of the poster a soft, irregular shoreline.

Chula Vista Map Poster & Print
Chula Vista lies in southern San Diego County, between downtown San Diego and the Mexican border. Its western edge meets San Diego Bay, with marinas, a bayfront park and salt marsh, and from there the city climbs gradually eastward. On a map, the older western neighbourhoods show a fairly regular grid, while the eastern districts are drawn in the curving streets and cul-de-sacs of newer planned communities.
Interstate 5 and Interstate 805 run north to south through the city, and State Route 125 runs along its eastern side, dividing the plan into clear bands of development. Further east, the Otay Lakes reservoirs and open hills form the city's natural edge. The layers, with the older grid near the water and looping streets inland, show how the city grew.
Beside Lower Otay Lake, Chula Vista has a training centre used by Olympic and Paralympic athletes, who come for the mild coastal climate. The name is usually translated from Spanish as beautiful view. A Chula Vista map poster frames the full range, from the bayfront and its marshes to the planned neighbourhoods and the reservoirs in the eastern hills.

Freeway bands
I-5, I-805 and SR 125 run north to south through the city. These strong parallel lines separate the older grid neighbourhoods from the curving streets of newer communities.
Otay Lakes
The reservoirs east of the city appear as long, winding shapes of water among open hills. They mark where the suburbs give way to open backcountry.
