Clive Map Poster & Print
Clive is a suburb on the western side of the Des Moines metro area in Iowa, spanning the line between Polk and Dallas counties. Its street plan is mostly modern: curving residential roads, cul-de-sacs and a few long arterial routes that connect it to the rest of the metro.
The town's defining feature is Walnut Creek and the Clive Greenbelt Trail that follows it. On the map, the creek cuts diagonally through the suburb, with a ribbon of parkland on either side. Neighbourhoods are arranged around this green corridor.
A Clive map poster places the winding creek and its green edge at the centre, framed by neat suburban street patterns and the straight lines of the Iowa section grid at the edges. It is an understated composition, and it shows how the town is organised around its open space.

Curving subdivisions
Residential streets loop and branch in typical suburban patterns. Together they create a soft, flowing texture across most of the map.
Section-line arterials
Long straight roads follow the Midwestern survey grid. They frame the composition and contrast with the curving residential streets.
