Industrial layout
Straighter roads and larger plots mark the areas used for manufacturing, forming a more regular pattern against the town's older, irregular lanes.

Dabhel Map Poster & Print
Dabhel lies in the Daman district of the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, a short distance inland from the Arabian Sea. On a map it forms part of a wider band of settlement around Daman, where older village cores sit beside newer housing and industrial plots laid out along the main roads.
The street pattern is mixed. Winding lanes follow older paths between neighbourhoods, while broader roads with more regular spacing mark the areas developed for factories and warehouses. The Daman area was under Portuguese rule until 1961, and although that history is more visible nearer the coast, it helps explain why the district is administered separately from the surrounding state of Gujarat.
A Dabhel map poster shows a small place in transition, where irregular village streets meet the straighter lines of industrial layouts. In black and white the result is a dense, varied texture, with open ground and water features appearing as quiet pauses. It is a map for those who know the town from the inside.

Village lanes
Narrow winding streets trace the older settlement, curving between houses and small open spaces in a way that reads well in fine line work.
Near the coast
The Arabian Sea shore lies a short distance west, and on a wider framing the coastline gives the composition a clear natural edge.
