Dāmnagar Map Poster & Print
Dāmnagar is a town in the Amreli district of Gujarat, on the Saurashtra peninsula. The surrounding land is flat and mostly agricultural, with fields of cotton, groundnuts and other crops. On a map, the town appears as a tight cluster of streets, surrounded by open land and connected to nearby villages by straight roads.
The older centre is dense, with narrow lanes, closely set houses and small squares. Newer areas on the edges have more regular plots and wider streets. Roads leading out of town run across the plain in long lines, and field boundaries divide the countryside into a patchwork of rectangles.
A Dāmnagar map poster brings out the contrast between the busy core and the calm fields. The lanes in the centre form a complex, detailed pattern, while the surrounding countryside is simple and geometric. It is a clean, graphic image of a small Gujarati town and the farming land around it.
