Dayr Ḩāfir Map Poster & Print
Dayr Ḩāfir lies on the broad, flat plain east of Aleppo in northern Syria, in a landscape of cultivated fields and scattered villages. From above, the town is a compact cluster of low buildings and streets, arranged around the roads that meet here and lead toward Aleppo and other towns of the region. Its edges are sharp, with fields beginning right where the houses end.
The land around the town is mostly farmland, dependent on seasonal rain and irrigation, and the pattern of fields gives the countryside a faint, repeating structure on the map. The area was heavily affected by the conflict in Syria during the 2010s, and many families from the town now live elsewhere, in other parts of the country or abroad.
A Dayr Ḩāfir map poster is a simple, respectful record of a place: its streets, its roads and the open plain around it. The flat terrain and compact form produce a clear, balanced composition, with the town at the centre and the countryside extending in fine lines to the edges of the sheet.

Roads across the plain
Main roads approach the town from several directions across the flat terrain. Their straight, confident lines anchor the composition and connect it to the wider region.
Agricultural plain
Fields and farm tracks surround the town on every side, giving the margins of the poster a light, open pattern that contrasts with the dense centre.
