Delmenhorst Map Poster & Print
Delmenhorst lies in Lower Saxony directly southwest of Bremen, separated from the larger city by the Ochtum lowlands and the city boundary. The small Delme river winds through the town from south to north, and on the map its curving course and the green corridors along its banks give structure to an otherwise dense, flat urban area.
In the late nineteenth century Delmenhorst became an industrial town, known above all for the Nordwolle wool-combing works and for linoleum production. The Nordwolle site, a large complex of brick factory halls, has since been converted into a museum, housing and offices, and still stands out clearly on the map as a compact block of regular buildings.
The Graft, a wooded park with ponds on the site of the former castle, lies at the edge of the centre, and the town hall complex with its tall water tower is a local landmark. A Delmenhorst map poster brings together river, park, factories and streets in a balanced, readable composition.

Nordwolle quarter
The former wool-combing works form a tightly organised block of long factory halls, now a museum and residential quarter, clearly visible on the map.
Graft park
Woodland and ponds on the old castle grounds create a generous green space next to the centre, a pale, calm area on the poster.

Zakaj Delmenhorst
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Delmenhorst is a town with a working history and a close bond to Bremen, and many people move between the two every day. A map of it is a quiet tribute to that identity, and it looks good in a kitchen or an office alike.
