Old town lanes
The historic centre is a fine mesh of narrow streets, visibly different in texture from the wide roads laid out around it in later years.

Donghai Map Poster & Print
Donghai lies in eastern Guangdong, within the county-level city of Lufeng in Shanwei prefecture, not far from the coast of the South China Sea. The map shows a town that has expanded across a coastal plain, with an older core of narrow streets surrounded by broad modern avenues, new residential compounds and industrial sites.
Low hills rise around the plain and small rivers run toward the sea, so the urban area is shaped partly by water and partly by slope. Like many towns in coastal Guangdong, it has grown fast in recent decades, and the contrast between compact old lanes and large rectilinear blocks is clear from above.
A Donghai map poster is a detailed record of a place that rarely appears on printed maps. The mix of irregular old streets, planned grids and the natural lines of rivers and hills gives the print variety, and the coastline nearby adds a strong edge when it falls within the frame.

Planned districts
Newer neighbourhoods follow long straight avenues and large blocks, creating a regular grid that frames the older core on several sides.
Hills and rivers
Rising ground and small rivers flowing toward the sea shape the edges of the town, where the dense street pattern gives way to open land.
