Sirhind Canal
The wide irrigation canal crosses the plain in long, nearly straight reaches. It is the boldest single feature of the map and a local landmark in its own right.

Dorāha Map Poster & Print
Dorāha lies in Ludhiana district in Indian Punjab, on the level plains between Ludhiana and Khanna. The land is almost perfectly flat, and the map is shaped by long straight lines. The national highway follows the old Grand Trunk Road, the main railway line runs toward Ambala and Delhi, and the Sirhind Canal crosses near the town.
The Sirhind Canal, one of the major irrigation works of Punjab, runs through the area on a broad, clean course, and its crossings create natural focal points in the plan. Around the town the pattern opens into rectangular fields, divided by irrigation channels and rural roads. It is the regular geometry of one of India's most intensively farmed regions.
Dorāha grew up on these routes, and its compact centre sits close to where road and rail meet. A Dorāha map poster turns that meeting of highway, railway and canal into a clean graphic composition. It is well suited to anyone from the Ludhiana area or with family roots in Punjab.

Grand Trunk Road
The historic highway, now a national highway, passes through the town. Its straight course links Dorāha to Ludhiana in one direction and Khanna in the other.
Field grid
Beyond the built-up area, rectangular fields and channels spread in every direction. They form a precise pattern that contrasts with the denser town streets.
