Railway line
The railway runs through the town as a firm straight line. It is one of the clearest structural features on the poster and links Dumraon to the main routes along the Ganges plain.

Dumraon Map Poster & Print
Dumraon lies in Buxar district in western Bihar, on the flat, fertile plain south of the Ganges. From above, the town is a compact core of lanes and markets, with a railway line and main roads crossing it. Beyond the edges, a landscape of fields and villages spreads out in every direction, broken only by small ponds, canals and country roads.
The town was the seat of the Dumraon Raj, a former princely estate whose palace grounds and old buildings are still part of the local landscape. Dumraon is also known as the birthplace of Ustad Bismillah Khan, the shehnai master whose music became famous across India and beyond.
A Dumraon map poster shows a town without coastlines or hills to define it. Its character comes from the network itself: the railway, the market streets and the paths leading out to the countryside. On paper, that simple structure makes for a quiet and personal composition.

Old town lanes
Near the centre, narrow lanes and market streets form a dense, irregular cluster. This is the oldest part of the town's layout and the most detailed area of the map.
Plain and villages
Around the town, country roads, field boundaries and small water bodies stretch across the flat plain. Villages appear as small clusters at the ends of these thin lines.
