Epsom Downs
A wide expanse of chalk downland south of the town, where the racecourse loop and a handful of roads are almost the only lines on an otherwise open part of the map.

Epsom Map Poster & Print
From above, Epsom looks like two landscapes stitched together. The town centre is a dense knot of streets gathered around the High Street and its clock tower, with residential roads fanning out in curves and cul-de-sacs. To the south the pattern thins, and the map opens onto the broad, almost empty chalk grassland of Epsom Downs, crossed only by a few roads and the racecourse rails.
Two facts carry the name far beyond Surrey. Epsom Downs Racecourse hosts the Derby, one of the oldest and most famous flat races in the world, and the town lent its name to Epsom salts, drawn from a mineral spring on the common in the seventeenth century. Both stories are written into the land: the spa led to the town's early growth, and the racecourse still dominates the southern map.
Beyond the centre, large green spaces break up the street network. Epsom Common spreads to the west as woodland and heath, while railway lines slice through the suburbs towards London. An Epsom map poster shows that balance clearly, a small town whose built-up core is framed on several sides by open ground, drawn in fine black lines against white paper.

Zakaj Epsom
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Epsom means something specific to people who grew up here, commuted from here to London, or spent a summer afternoon on the Downs on Derby day. A map of the town is a quiet way to keep that connection on the wall, with the racecourse and the commons easy to pick out at a glance.
The poster can carry your own title, a subtitle such as a street name or a meaningful date, and a coordinates line. Choose between Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
