Historic centre
A small knot of older, irregular streets marks the original village at the heart of the city, surrounded by the much larger districts that grew around it.

Fuenlabrada Map Poster & Print
Fuenlabrada lies in the southern metropolitan belt of Madrid, and from above it forms a compact, dense city with clear edges. Tall residential blocks and wide avenues fill most of the urban area, while motorways and ring roads sketch its outline. Beyond them the land opens into flat farmland and industrial estates, so the city reads almost like an island on the plain.
For most of its history Fuenlabrada was a small farming village. In the final decades of the twentieth century it grew extremely quickly as housing was built for people working in and around Madrid, and it became one of the largest municipalities in the region. It is connected to neighbouring towns by Metrosur, a circular metro line linking the southern suburbs.
A Fuenlabrada map poster shows a city shaped by planning at speed: the older village streets around the centre, the long rectangular blocks of later housing, the parks set between them and the motorway loops at the edges. It is a strongly graphic layout that looks especially crisp in Classic black & white or Blueprint.

Residential blocks
Rows of apartment blocks and broad avenues cover much of the city, giving the map a regular, rhythmic pattern of rectangles and inner courtyards.
Motorway edges
Motorways and ring roads wrap around the urban area, drawing firm curved lines that separate Fuenlabrada from the fields and business parks beyond.

Zakaj Fuenlabrada
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many households in Fuenlabrada arrived during its years of rapid growth, and for them the city is home in its own right rather than simply a suburb of Madrid. A map of the streets where they raised a family is a natural way to mark that.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add a date such as a move or a birth, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are on offer. The digital files come as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes, including 50×70 cm and A2.
