Freeport grid
Freeport was laid out as a planned city in the 1950s, with wide avenues and large blocks joined by roundabouts. The pattern is clear and ordered and reads well at any poster size.

Grand Bahama Map Poster & Print
Grand Bahama is the northernmost of the major Bahamian islands, less than a hundred kilometres off the coast of Florida. It is long and low, running east to west for well over a hundred kilometres. Its south shore is smooth and faces deep water, while the northern side is a ragged edge of mangroves, creeks and shallow flats that fade into the Little Bahama Bank.
Freeport was founded in the 1950s as a planned free-trade city under the Hawksbill Creek Agreement, and its layout shows it: broad avenues, roundabouts and large rectangular blocks, very different from older Caribbean towns. Next to it, the Lucaya area is threaded with canals dug for waterfront homes, and the Grand Lucayan Waterway cuts across the island from coast to coast.
East of the city, Lucayan National Park protects mangroves, a quiet beach and one of the longest mapped underwater cave systems in the world. A Grand Bahama map poster can show the whole island as a long, thin band. It can also focus on Freeport and Lucaya, where the avenues and the lace of canals give the most graphic detail.

Lucaya canals
Near the southern shore, dredged canals branch into dozens of residential fingers, creating a comb-like pattern of water and land.
Grand Lucayan Waterway
A long artificial channel runs across the island from the south coast toward the north. It is a straight line of water that visibly slices Grand Bahama in two.

Zakaj Grand Bahama
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Grand Bahama is home to many Bahamians and a regular escape for Floridians, and many families keep boats or winter homes along its canals. Its engineered layout, all straight avenues and branching waterways, makes a surprisingly graphic poster that feels modern rather than nostalgic.
Personalise the title and subtitle with your canal, street or year, and keep or change the coordinates. Pick one of five styles; Blueprint emphasises the planned grid. HD files cost $9 for six sizes, and printed matte posters, with or without a wooden frame, ship from local partners.
