Hazro City Map Poster & Print
Hazro City is a town in Attock District in the north of Pakistan's Punjab. It is the main settlement of the fertile Chhachh plain. The Indus River flows a short distance away and the Tarbela reservoir lies upstream to the north. The land around the town is flat, well irrigated and closely farmed.
On the map, Hazro appears as a dense centre of bazaar streets and residential lanes that grew without a formal plan, with newer houses spreading along the main roads. Beyond them, the Chhachh plain is divided into fields and small villages, many of them home to the Pashtun community of the region.
A Hazro City map poster shows the town's tight core and its farming setting in one image. Many people from Hazro and Chhachh have moved to the Gulf, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. For them the pattern of these streets is especially familiar, in a way a photograph rarely captures as clearly.
