Hemet Map Poster & Print
Hemet occupies part of the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, Southern California, and its map is shaped by that setting. The city's streets are laid out in a broad, regular grid across the flat valley floor, with long straight avenues running for miles, while the edges of the map rise into foothills where roads begin to curve and thin out.
The city grew as an agricultural centre, and traces of that past remain in the size of some blocks and in the long roads that once separated orchards and fields. Hemet is also known for the Ramona Pageant, an outdoor play performed in the Ramona Bowl amphitheatre in the hills since the 1920s, one of the longest-running outdoor dramas in the United States.
A Hemet map poster shows the valley as a kind of basin: a dense, gridded centre surrounded by open, rising ground. Just to the south lies Diamond Valley Lake, a large reservoir whose shape can add a strong feature to a wider framing. The result is orderly in the middle and softer at the margins.

Surrounding foothills
At the edges of the city the terrain rises and the road pattern changes, with curving streets and sparse lines marking the transition into the hills.
Diamond Valley Lake
South of the city, this large reservoir forms a distinct open shape bounded by dams, a strong contrast to the dense street grid when included in the frame.

Zakaj Hemet
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Hemet is a place many people chose for its space and its views of the mountains, and a map poster keeps that sense of a town held within its valley. It suits a hallway, a study or a gift for someone who has moved away.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a street name or the year you settled there, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
