Huai Yot Map Poster & Print
Huai Yot is a district in Trang province, in the south of Thailand, between the coast and the mountains of the peninsula. The town centre is small and compact, with streets clustered around the main roads. Beyond it, the landscape turns into rolling countryside of rubber and palm plantations, forest patches and scattered villages linked by winding local roads.
Small rivers and streams cross the district, and the roads bend to follow the valleys and low hills. The southern Thai landscape here is green and uneven, and settlement follows the practical lines of roads and water rather than a planned grid. The town itself serves as a local centre for markets and services for the surrounding farming communities.
A Huai Yot map poster pairs a compact core with the loose, organic lines of the countryside around it. Roads meander out of town, streams weave between them, and the overall pattern feels relaxed and irregular. In black and white, the composition becomes a gentle abstract drawing, a personal record of a place most maps treat as a small dot.

Winding roads
Local roads leave the town in curving lines, following valleys and hillsides toward villages and plantations across the district.
Streams and valleys
Small waterways cross the landscape, and their thin, meandering lines add fine detail to the map between the roads.
