Tasek Glugor Map Poster & Print
Tasek Glugor lies in the northern part of Seberang Perai, the mainland half of the state of Penang, well away from the dense streets of George Town across the channel. It is a modest town with a compact centre, and its map is defined as much by the countryside around it as by the streets within it.
From above, the core appears as a short cluster of shophouse streets and local roads. Residential lanes and village settlements are strung along the routes that lead out of town. Beyond them the land opens into agricultural plots, where field boundaries and drainage lines form long, straight strokes that echo the flat terrain of the coastal plain.
A Tasek Glugor map poster is a portrait of a smaller Penang: the mainland districts many families call home, though visitors seldom see them. The composition is light and open, with a handful of dense lines at the centre surrounded by fields. It suits anyone who wants a map of where they actually come from rather than the postcard view.

Roads into the countryside
Local roads radiate outward to nearby villages, and settlements string themselves along them, creating thin lines of houses running across the plain.
Agricultural plain
Flat farmland and plantations fill much of the map, where straight field edges and drainage channels add a quiet, ruled texture to the design.

Zakaj Tasek Glugor
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Hometown maps mean the most when the town is not famous, and Tasek Glugor is exactly that kind of place. Add your family name, a wedding or birth date, or the coordinates of a kampung house, and the print becomes something only your family would recognise.
Classic black & white keeps the design crisp, while Sand and Paper suit the rural landscape and Noir or Blueprint give a bolder look. The $9 download includes six print sizes, or you can order a printed matte poster with an optional frame.
