Curving subdivisions
Streets bend and loop throughout the city. Their dense, flowing pattern of residential roads fills most of the poster with soft curves.

Huber Heights Map Poster & Print
Huber Heights lies northeast of Dayton, Ohio, on the flat to gently rolling land of the Miami Valley. The city grew after the Second World War, largely through the work of builder Charles Huber, who promoted it as America's largest community of brick homes. On a map that origin is obvious in block after block of curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs.
Unlike older towns in the region, Huber Heights has no historic grid at its center. Its neighborhoods are organised around loops, crescents and short connecting roads, with main arterials cutting through in straighter lines. Interstate 70 crosses the northern part of the city, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base lies a short distance to the south.
At the edges of the city, the streets give way to farmland, parks and newer subdivisions. A Huber Heights map poster captures a distinctive chapter in American suburban planning. From above, its street patterns look repetitive at first and then turn out to be surprisingly varied.

Interstate 70
The interstate crosses the northern part of Huber Heights. Its strong straight line and interchanges contrast with the winding streets around it.
Brick home legacy
Much of the map is covered by the postwar neighborhoods Charles Huber built. Their uniform plots and repeated street shapes create a recognisable rhythm.
