Contour-following roads
Streets trace the shape of the hills, bending and branching around high ground, so the map shows the terrain even without drawn contour lines.

Hueytown Map Poster & Print
Hueytown lies in Jefferson County, Alabama, to the southwest of Birmingham. The map shows a residential town spread over uneven terrain, where roads bend around ridges and small valleys instead of running straight. A few main routes carry traffic through the town, and from them branch quieter streets, loops and dead ends that give the map an organic, almost leaf-like texture.
The town is known in motorsport circles as the home of the Alabama Gang, a group of stock car racers that included the Allison family. That link to racing is part of local identity, even though the map itself shows a calm, domestic landscape of houses, churches and schools.
A Hueytown map poster suits the character of the place: modest in scale, with a pattern that looks natural rather than planned. The ridges of north Alabama's industrial hills are hinted at by the way streets curve and cluster, and the result is a detailed, balanced image with plenty of fine lines.

Main through routes
A handful of principal roads cross the town and link it toward Birmingham and Bessemer, giving the composition its strongest, most continuous lines.
Residential loops
Cul-de-sacs and looping side streets fill the spaces between the main roads, adding a dense, delicate texture that looks especially good at larger print sizes.
