Jember Map Poster & Print
Jember lies on the fertile lowlands of eastern Java, between the volcanic mountains to the north and the Indian Ocean coast to the south. The city grew as a centre of the colonial plantation economy, and tobacco remains its best-known crop. On the map, the urban area forms a compact core of streets around the main square, with roads running outward in several directions toward surrounding towns and fields.
Rivers flow through the city from the uplands toward the sea, cutting soft curves through the grid of streets and neighbourhoods. The pattern mixes the planned blocks of the older centre with the looser growth of kampungs and newer residential areas. Jember is also known for the Jember Fashion Carnaval, an annual street parade whose elaborate costumes have drawn attention far beyond Indonesia.
A Jember map poster frames a city shaped by farmland, rivers and the slopes of eastern Java. In black and white, the central streets form a clear, dense cluster and the rivers wind through as pale curving lines. Roads leading out to the plantations stretch toward the edges of the frame, which gives the map a sense of the region beyond the city.

Roads to the plantations
From the centre, main routes extend outward into the tobacco and farming land around the city, forming long spokes that connect Jember to the wider region.

Zakaj Jember
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Jember is a university city as well as a farming centre, and many people spend formative years here before moving elsewhere. A map of its streets is a way to hold on to those years, or to honour a family history rooted in the region.
Add a personal title and subtitle, such as a kampung name or a wedding date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Blueprint, and download print-ready PDF and PNG files in six sizes for $9.
