Kent Map Poster & Print
Kent lies in Portage County in northeast Ohio, on the Cuyahoga River. On a map, the river runs through the middle of town in a narrow valley, crossed by a few bridges. The small downtown sits beside it, with a grid of short streets. Residential neighbourhoods spread out on either side, in the tree-lined blocks typical of Ohio towns.
East of downtown is the large campus of Kent State University, which dominates the town's shape. From above, it appears as a broad area of curving drives, quads, playing fields and scattered buildings. The university is also known for the events of May 4, 1970, when Ohio National Guard soldiers shot students during a protest, a moment now commemorated on campus.
A Kent map poster brings the river, the downtown and the campus together in one frame. It is a natural gift for graduates, faculty and families who have lived there. The composition holds both a lively college town and the quieter residential streets around it.

Kent State campus
The university's grounds cover a large area east of downtown. Their curving drives, open lawns and playing fields make a distinctive, looser pattern.
Downtown grid
The small downtown lies just beside the river. Its short, regular blocks make it a clear, dense focal point within the wider town.
