Factory grounds
The pipe and wire plants occupy large rectangular sites whose internal roads and long workshop outlines stand out against the smaller, finer grain of the residential streets.

Khartsyzk Map Poster & Print
Khartsyzk lies in the Donetsk region, in the rolling steppe east of Donetsk and Makiivka. It grew as an industrial town, and its layout still reflects that origin: residential streets gathered around rail lines and the large sites of heavy industry, with open fields and scattered water bodies stretching away on every side.
The town is best known for its steel pipe plant, one of the established large-diameter pipe makers of the former Soviet Union, and for its wire and rope production. Like much of the Donbas, the surrounding landscape is marked by the history of coal mining, with spoil heaps and industrial tracks visible across the wider area.
A Khartsyzk map poster presents the town without decoration. Grids of low-rise housing sit beside the long rectangles of factory grounds, railway lines cut straight across the plan, and small reservoirs and ponds appear as soft shapes in the surrounding land. It is a working town seen from above, clear and unsentimental.

Railway corridors
Rail lines run straight through the town, dividing districts and linking the factories to the wider Donbas network. On the map they give the composition firm, directional lines.
Steppe and water
Beyond the built-up area, open steppe and a scattering of ponds and small reservoirs thin the linework out, leaving the town as a clearly bounded shape.

Zakaj Khartsyzk
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many people keep a map of Khartsyzk as a record of a home they no longer live near, or a place where family members worked for decades. The poster gives that memory a quiet, fixed form, free of commentary.
You can set the title and subtitle to anything you like, such as a street name or year, adjust the coordinates line, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the town a softer, archival feel.
