Khārupatia Map Poster & Print
Khārupatia is a town in the Darrang district of Assam, on the low plains north of the Brahmaputra. The surrounding land is flat and well watered, with rice fields, ponds, small streams and wetland patches that change with the seasons. On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets set within a wide, open field of cultivated ground.
The street pattern is informal, with a main road through the centre and lanes branching into residential areas and market streets. Around the edges, roads run through the fields toward nearby villages, and watercourses meander between them. The great river lies to the south, and its influence is visible in the many channels and low-lying areas across the plain.
A Khārupatia map poster turns this quiet riverine landscape into a composition of fine lines and open space. The town serves as a market centre for the surrounding countryside, and the map reflects that role, with routes converging on the centre from every direction. It suits anyone with a connection to Darrang or the north bank of Assam.

Water and wetland
Streams, ponds and low marshy patches lie scattered around the town, adding soft, irregular shapes that contrast with the straighter lines of the roads.
Floodplain fields
Flat farmland stretches in every direction, cut by field paths and embankments, and on the poster it becomes calm open space that frames the settlement.
