Laiwu Map Poster & Print
Laiwu lies in central Shandong, in a basin surrounded by hills and low mountains. The Wen River flows through the area, and on the map the urban districts spread across the valley floor, with rougher terrain rising on the edges. The road network is broadly regular in the centre, while country roads curve through the surrounding hills.
The city grew as an industrial centre, known especially for steel production, and its layout reflects that history, with large industrial areas alongside residential districts. Since 2019, Laiwu has been part of the city of Jinan, the provincial capital, as a district rather than a separate city.
A Laiwu map poster shows an ordered town set within an uneven landscape. The basin setting gives the map a natural frame, with the built-up area concentrated in the centre and hills, reservoirs and fields spreading outward in every direction.
