Leerdam Map Poster & Print
Leerdam lies on the river Linge in the flat Dutch river country, now part of Utrecht province. The historic centre is compact, enclosed by the old line of its fortifications and water, with the Linge curving along one side. Around it, newer neighbourhoods follow the straight lines of the polders, divided by ditches and dikes into a landscape of long rectangles.
The town is known across the Netherlands as a centre of glassmaking. The Royal Leerdam glassworks has operated here since the nineteenth century, and the National Glass Museum is in the town. Leerdam is also associated with the cheese that carries its name.
A Leerdam map poster brings together a tight historic core, a meandering river and the orderly geometry of the Dutch countryside. The composition is balanced and restful, and the polder lines give the edges a fine, almost textile-like pattern.

Zakaj Leerdam
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Leerdam is a meaningful place for people connected to its glassworks, its river or its quiet streets. A map of the town makes a modest, elegant piece for a Dutch home or a gift for someone who has moved away.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white gives the fine polder lines a sharp, graphic finish.
