The river
A river loops past the town on its way toward the coast, its curves giving the poster a soft, organic line against the straighter town streets.

Lundu Map Poster & Print
Lundu is a small town in western Sarawak, in Malaysian Borneo, northwest of Kuching and close to the Indonesian border. From above, the town sits beside a river that winds toward the coast, with a compact centre of shophouses and streets and scattered settlements beyond. Forested hills rise to one side, and the South China Sea is a short distance away.
The area is best known for Gunung Gading National Park, whose rainforest is famous for the Rafflesia, the large flower that blooms there. Beaches along the nearby coast draw weekend visitors from Kuching, and the roads that lead to them are clear lines on the map.
A Lundu map poster balances water, forest and a small town grid. The river's curves, the open expanse of the sea and the thin roads through green country give the composition a relaxed, spacious feel, well suited to anyone who knows this corner of Borneo.

Town centre
A small cluster of streets and shophouse rows forms the core, compact and orderly, surrounded by more scattered houses along the roads.
Gunung Gading hills
The forested slopes of the national park rise nearby, appearing as open, unbuilt ground broken only by a few trails and access roads.
