Maple Shade Map Poster & Print
Maple Shade is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, a short drive east of Philadelphia and next to Cherry Hill. It is a mainly residential place, and from above its neighbourhoods show as close grids of modest blocks, bounded by larger roads and the creek that runs along its edge.
State highways, including Route 73 and Route 38, cross or skirt the township, and their broad lines separate the quieter streets from the commercial strips along them. Pennsauken Creek forms part of the boundary, a natural line in a landscape shaped otherwise by roads.
A Maple Shade map poster shows the everyday structure of the South Jersey suburbs: residential grids, highway corridors and the creek along the edge. It is an unshowy plan, and for the people who live there that familiarity is exactly the point.
