Mehar Map Poster & Print
Mehar is in Dadu district, Sindh, on the flat alluvial plain west of the Indus. The landscape around it has been shaped by irrigation. Canals and smaller channels cross the land in long lines, and the fields between them form a patchwork of rectangles. The town is a denser cluster in the middle of this farmland, with roads leading out to villages and to the district's other towns.
The town's centre has the tight streets and market lanes typical of older towns in Sindh. The newer areas around it are more spread out, with blocks and main roads where the town has grown. Since the land is almost completely flat, the map's shapes come mainly from human work: water channels, roads, field edges and the built-up core.
A Mehar map poster brings out this orderly quality. The canals appear as fine, straight or gently curving lines, the fields as a quiet background grid, and the town as a firm cluster at the centre. It is a restrained composition, and people from Mehar will recognise the roads into town, the market streets and the water channels running beside them.

Market centre
The older core of the town has a dense pattern of market lanes and close streets. It stands out clearly against the open farmland around it.
Field patchwork
The farmland around the town forms a grid of rectangular fields, separated by paths and channels. It fills the edges of the poster with an even, quiet texture.
