Village core
The older part of Mharal shows as a tight cluster of lanes, contrasting with the more spacious and regular layouts of the newer housing around it.

Mharal Bk Map Poster & Print
Mharal Bk is a census town in Thane district, Maharashtra, close to Kalyan and Ulhasnagar on the outer edge of the Mumbai metropolitan region. The abbreviation Bk stands for Budruk, a Marathi term used to distinguish the larger of two settlements with the same name. On a map the place is a mix of older village lanes and newer blocks of housing spreading into surrounding open land.
The landscape around Kalyan is shaped by the Ulhas River and its tributaries, low hills and remnants of paddy fields, and Mharal sits within that transition from rural to urban. Roads link it to Kalyan and to towns further inland, and the pattern of streets reflects steady growth rather than a single planned layout.
A Mharal Bk map poster is a portrait of a place in the middle of change: irregular lanes, new residential clusters and the roads tying them to the city. For residents who have watched it grow, the print fixes a particular moment in time, which is often exactly the reason for hanging it.
