Mujiayingzi Map Poster & Print
Mujiayingzi lies in the southeast of Inner Mongolia, a short distance from the city of Chifeng. The land around it is a patchwork of low hills, farmland and river valleys, where the grasslands of the north begin to give way to the farmed country of northern China. On a map the town appears as a concentrated block of streets set within this open landscape, with roads fanning out across the valley floor.
Like many towns in the region, it combines a practical grid of main roads with denser clusters of low-rise housing and courtyards. The climate is dry and continental, with cold winters and short summers. Settlement tends to follow the valleys, where water and flat ground are easier to find. The result is a map with a clear core and wide, quiet margins.
A Mujiayingzi map poster emphasises the contrast between a compact settlement and the broad land around it. Streets form a dense knot in the centre, roads draw long lines outward, and the empty space of the fields becomes part of the design. It is a restrained, graphic way to remember a hometown far from the large cities of the east.

Valley roads
Main roads follow the lower ground through the valley and link the town with Chifeng and neighbouring settlements. They give the map its longer, directional lines.
Open margins
Beyond the built-up area the map becomes sparse, with scattered villages and field tracks. This quiet space is part of the composition rather than a gap in it.
