Mukeriān Map Poster & Print
Mukeriān is a town in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, in the north of the state where the plains begin to rise toward the Shivalik foothills. The Beas flows a short distance away, and the land around the town is flat, fertile and densely farmed. On a map, the town appears as a compact core of bazaars and lanes, with newer colonies spreading along the main roads.
Its most distinctive feature is the Mukeriān Hydel Channel, a canal that draws water from the Beas to power a series of hydroelectric stations. It runs across the landscape in long, straight stretches, a precise engineered line that contrasts with the irregular lanes of the old town and the patchwork of surrounding fields.
The town sits on the route between Jalandhar and Pathankot, and both the highway and the railway pass through it, adding further straight lines to the plan. A Mukeriān map poster brings together river, canal, road and rail, framing a busy market town within the open plains of the Doaba region.
